Censura - Censura LP (Colombia 🇨🇴 1992)

Here we have a truly unique piece of Colombian extreme music history! Censura was a thrashy lo-fi punk band from Medellín with some clear crossover influences. What makes this particular copy especially interesting is that it comes with a letter addressed to radio station Todelar Stereo FM, submitting Censura's music for the "first inter-municipal battle of the bands." The letter is signed by John Jairo Martínez, who previously played in Blasfemia and Parabellum, cited as two of the earliest black metal bands, not just in South America but anywhere, whose professed admirers included Euronymous of Mayhem. Martínez was tragically killed in a street fight in 1998.

Vinyl is strong VG. Side A is visually borderline VG+, with just a few small superficial marks. Side B has some hairlines and light marks, but nothing serious. Jacket is encased in plastic that is taped to the inside/mouth. Corner wear and light creasing, otherwise in great shape.
