These two companion pieces, “Yellow” and “Green,” were released in 1997 by long running Japanese indie band Little Creatures under the moniker “Little Creatures Meets Future Aliens,” perhaps as a subtle nod to classic dub encounters like King Tubby Meets the Aggrovators. That dub influence is also noticeable in the sound on these releases, which also draw from 90s electronic innovations and college jangle rock to create a head scratching sonic brew.
